Yoga for children from 5 to 9 years old

Who is this course for?

The “Playing Yoga” course is suitable for those children who know what yoga is, as well as for those who have never tried yoga. We recommend these activities for children ages 5-9, but they may be suitable for younger or older children as well. When it comes to children, everything is individual!

About the course

Often our children have a high pace of life and a fairly busy schedule – the same as their parents. It’s hard to find a free minute among the many sections and homework!

It is especially difficult to make time for yoga: after all, these are not the usual lessons, such as mathematics, speed reading, and not even sports, for which most parents find additional space in the schedule because they are confident in the benefits of these subjects.

We created a video course for such busy children because we have seen from experience that yoga develops skills and abilities that help the child succeed in other important matters.

Why yoga?

Yoga is not only physical development, it is also the development of the mind, the formation of a healthy psyche, and the ability to communicate and understand oneself and the world around.

And also yoga:

    • teaches awareness and depth of perception
    • develops willpower and character
    • forms good memory
    • develops extraordinary thinking
Develop healthy habits in your child from childhood. This will become his support and guide throughout his life!

About the course

The “Playing Yoga” course was developed according to the American method: exercises are woven into a fairy-tale plot or story. Therefore, the main course materials are children’s books and songs in English.

What’s included in the course?

    • 10 video yoga classes, 30-40 minutes each
    • 10 videos with interesting stories
    • 4 videos with songs in English
    • 2 meditations for children

Online yoga classes for children

At the Yoga Hub Club, we conduct online classes for children with experience in the practice. To join the children’s club, we offer to take the “Playing Yoga” course. This will make it easier for your child to join one of the online groups. But even if the time for online classes does not suit you, with the help of the course, the child will master the basic asanas and will be able to fully practice independently.
