Between heaven and earth: where will we go?

The Himalayan region is a treasure trove of wisdom, a place of strength and incredible beauty. Here, on the border between the ordinary and the divine, there are amazing countries: mysterious Nepal, mystical Tibet and mysterious Bhutan – the last Buddhist kingdom.

Nepal is a land of contrasts, where bustling Kathmandu is juxtaposed with the silence of ancient temples and emerald valleys at the foot of snowy peaks. This is the land where Buddha was born, where every stone is steeped in history and every path can become a path to enlightenment.

Tibet is the “roof of the world”, located 4000 meters above sea level, a place where the clouds become your neighbors. Here, monasteries like eagles’ nests cling to the cliffs and prayer flags fly in the crystal clear air, spreading blessings around the world.

Bhutan is the land of the Thunder Dragon, the last Buddhist kingdom that measures its well-being not by gross output but by “Gross National Happiness”. A place where ancient traditions have been preserved in pristine condition and nature is astonishing in its unspoiled beauty.

Which of these amazing places will be our next refuge? The intrigue remains, but one thing is certain – it will be a journey that will change your perception of the world.

Our experience: traveling to the closed kingdom of Mustang

In the footsteps of the mystics of Tibet and the Great Yogis

Вид заснеженных гор в Покхаре

Last time we organized a unique trip to one of the most closed places in Nepal – the ancient kingdom of Mustang. Here the authentic atmosphere of Tibet has been preserved, where ancient traditions remain a living part of everyday life.

Our itinerary included ascents to passes over 4000 meters high, from where we had breathtaking panoramas of snowy peaks and valleys. We visited ancient caves where yogis seeking enlightenment have meditated for centuries.

Traveling to Mustang was not just an excursion, but a real immersion into a different reality. We traversed mountain trails, slept in authentic villages, tasted traditional food and got to know the locals. It was this authenticity and lack of tourist showmanship that made our experience truly valuable.

When we returned home, we took with us not only photos of amazing landscapes and ancient monasteries, but also a new perspective on a world where spiritual values and traditions still define the way of life of an entire region.

What's being prepared now?

Now we are working on a new route, which promises to be no less impressive. Perhaps it will be a trip to the heart of Tibet, with its powerful energy and ancient monasteries. Or maybe it will be Bhutan – the mysterious kingdom of happiness, where Buddhist traditions are intertwined with unique culture and stunning nature.

One thing we can say for sure – it will be not just a trip, but a real pilgrimage to the sources of wisdom, an opportunity to find answers to important questions and, perhaps, to change your life.

Follow our updates – soon we will reveal all the cards and share the details of the upcoming trip.

Emotions of the Mustang trip participants

Lyosha

Traveling to Nepal-Mustang was the revelation of my life. It was the first time I truly experienced Buddhism and discovered the amazing soul of the Nepalese people. It is amazing how these people retain their joy and soulfulness despite the daily hardships. Nepali culture fascinated me with its depth, and the people of the highland villages on the border with Tibet showed me what true goodness means - as if approaching the sky, people become purer in heart.

Marina

At Mustang, we worked deeply on mind and body, supported by a strict daily routine that kept us from losing that precious thread. Every morning we woke up early for yoga, starting with mantras that united us into a single energetic structure. Nepal greeted me with a stunning kaleidoscope of events that left a lasting impression.

Elena

In the Buddhist monastery I immediately felt that this was my place, I found real harmony - exactly what I was traveling for. Every day it resonated more and more deeply in my soul. The mountains inspired me incredibly. It struck me that like-minded people gathered here - you merge with this energy and realize that you can do so much more. And the soundcheck was something truly incredible.

Sasha and Sasha

I was most impressed by the Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu with its incredible energy. The splendor of the mountains left a lasting impression. I am truly grateful for this experience - your retreats are truly exceptional. I return home maximally fulfilled.

Lena and Julia

In Kathmandu, I was fascinated by the amazing diversity of religions and philosophies. But the real peak of delight was Mustang. For me, mountains have always been something cleansing, but these rugged peaks cleanse especially deeply - they literally peel away all the husks of life. After the trip there was a strong feeling that something significant and important is always with me now.

Questions

What makes the Himalayan region special for a spiritual journey?

The Himalayas are not just a mountain system, but a special energetic space where great teachers and masters have practiced and achieved enlightenment for thousands of years. Here, in the very heart of the “roof of the world”, the most ancient spiritual traditions of Buddhism, Hinduism and Bon are concentrated. The bizarre world of the Himalayas seems to have gathered all the world’s religions – it is here that the path to deep self-knowledge is found. Many believe that the Himalayas are home to the most powerful places of power on our planet, where the energy of the mountains allows for faster progress on the spiritual path.

Do you need special physical training for such a tour?

Some physical fitness is desirable, but you do not have to be a professional climber. Our treks are adapted to different levels of fitness. Basic endurance is sufficient for visiting monasteries in the valleys, while higher altitude treks will require more serious preparation. The key point is acclimatization, which we specifically include in the program, allowing the body to gradually get used to the altitude.

What documents do I need to travel to this region?

A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry will be required for travel. For Nepal, visa can be obtained upon arrival at Kathmandu airport. To visit Tibet, in addition to a Chinese visa, a special permit (Permit) is required, which we arrange in advance. Travel to Bhutan requires a special tourist visa, which can only be obtained through accredited tour operators, and we take care of this process.

What to take with you on a spiritual tour of the Himalayas?

Be sure to take:
Warm and lightweight layered clothing (the weather in the mountains is changeable)
Trekking shoes with good ankle support
Sunglasses and cream with high SPF (the sun in the mountains is especially active)
Flashlight (in remote areas there are power outages)
Sleeping bag (for some routes)
Diary to record impressions and transformations
Offerings for monasteries (usually white scarves – hadaka).

Can I take photos in monasteries and during rituals?

Photography is allowed in most monasteries, but often a special fee is required. Inside some temples, photography is prohibited, especially with flash. During rituals, always ask permission from the monks or our guide. The main thing to remember is that these are places of living spiritual practice, not museum pieces, so it is important to be respectful and not disturb the practitioners. Some sacred images cannot be photographed at all – our guides will always tell you where you can take pictures.

Do I need to have experience in meditation or yoga to participate?

No, prior experience is not necessary. Our journey is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. We offer basic practices that are accessible to everyone, with the opportunity to go deeper for those who are already experienced. The key is openness to new experiences and a willingness to make inner changes.

If I prepay and then can't go, will you give me a refund?

Prepayment is non-refundable, as we immediately send the funds to our partners in Nepal to book accommodation and other services, and reserve your place in the group, rejecting others. However, we are ready to return the prepayment if another participant can take your place. In case of force majeure (Nepal’s borders are closed or air service is canceled), the prepayment will be refunded less bank transfer fee.

Before making a prepayment, please read the Disclamer, as well as the Offer Agreement, which describes in detail the conditions of participation in the tour, mutual rights and obligations of the trip participants and organizers, as well as the level of responsibility during the trip and spiritual practices.
