Yoga retreat in Thailand

Thailand is deservedly considered one of the most beautiful countries in Asia. Despite the actively developed tourism, this country has carefully preserved the spiritual Buddhist heritage, which brought people Shakyamuni Buddha more than 2500 years ago. Buddhism is so deeply embedded in the culture of Thailand that it is still chronicling the birth of Buddha, so every time you visit this country, you move into the future.

Thailand is also known for its natural heritage, which it carefully preserves and protects. In Thailand there are about 100 natural reserves with incredibly beautiful vegetation and rare animals. Of course, we will visit a few of the most beautiful of them to immerse ourselves in the silence and balance of nature minimally touched by the hand of man, to feel the goodness of this space on our planet.

To experience more deeply the purity of Thailand’s energies, we will practice yoga and meditation in all the places we will visit, as well as regularly undergo the ritual “Purification of the 5 elements”.

If you are interested in self-discovery, spiritual development and relaxation with benefits for mind and body, come with us on a retreat to Thailand.

Yoga retreat in Thailand

“Fresh air, clear sky, warm sea, kind and open people – all this is the beauty of life”

Yoga tour will be interesting for those people who are interested in a healthy lifestyle, strive to develop spiritually and love beautiful nature and warm sea. If you are still choosing where and how to have a vacation with benefits for body and soul, we have gathered for you the main reasons to choose a yoga tour in Thailand with us:

Daily 5 Elements Purification Ritual: In yoga, the five elements are seen as the foundation of all Creation, including the physical body. Yogic sciences have powerful practices that can bring the body and mind into a vibrant state of health and well-being. One such powerful practice, Bhuta Shudhi, is one we will be practicing daily. Bhuta Shudhi is an ancient Vedic practice to purify and harmonize the five primal elements (bhutas) that make up our body: earth (prithvi), water (apas), fire (agni), air (vayu) and ether (akasha). According to Ayurveda, imbalance of these elements leads to diseases of the body and restlessness of the mind. Bhuta Shuddhi helps to restore their natural balance.

Yoga, meditation, sound and aromatherapy practices: The retreat will include daily yoga practices appropriate to the retreat participants’ level of training, breathing practices and meditations at local temples and places of strength. Evening sound therapy (sound hiling) and aromatherapy with essential oils will strengthen your health and nervous system, give you strength and vitality.

The beauty of nature: Thailand is famous for its picturesque beaches, dense rainforests, warm and crystal clear seawater. On our retreat you will visit the most beautiful beaches of the southern coast, visit the most beautiful waterfalls and enjoy the most beautiful views of the islands and the sea.

Massage and total relaxation: Thailand has the most developed health industry based on the best massages in the world. We know the best massage parlors in the islands and will tailor your massage to your needs and expectations. A quality massage is essential for complete relaxation of the body and relaxation of the mind, so on our retreat massages are an integral part of your vacation.

Spiritual knowledge and self-development: Yoga tour is not only about traveling and physical yoga practice, but also an opportunity for spiritual growth. By communing with monks, retreating to the beauty of nature, and practicing meditation every day, you can deepen your practice and experience inner harmony through self-discovery.

Olya and Roma - well done! I felt at home! Not once did I regret coming here. Thailand welcomed me beautifully. I thought that such beauty is only possible on Photoshop.

I had never been to these places before. I really enjoyed my time here. I have not regretted it for a second. Furthermore, I think Thailand is the perfect place for such retreats and spiritual practices.

You showed us so many beautiful places. We even spent the night in a lakeside cabin. And it was beautiful! It was a very active retreat for me. I don't know of any retreat like this in my entire practice.

This is where yoga opened up for me in an unexpected way. It was different every day, and it was good for me. Well, the gong is a separate topic... It is such a force and power, just nature merged with man!

It's always better to see a country with people who love it. I arrived earlier before the tour, 10 days in advance, and saw a lot of things. But what I saw with you, Roma and Olga, was much more interesting and, most importantly, tastier!

I've lived in Thailand for many years - it's my home. But I rediscovered Thailand with Roma and Olya. They showed me how beautiful it can be here in the morning practicing near the sea. Doing yoga every day for two weeks has only made me stronger.

Questions

Where do we fly to? Where do we meet?

On January 30 at lunchtime (around 14-15.00) we meet in Surat Thani, which is a city in the south of Thailand. We pick up all participants from Surat Thani airport and train station.

Getting here is very easy and there are good air and rail connections. There are a few of the most convenient options:

Fly into Bangkok and transfer to local airlines to Surat Thani. Tickets start at $30 and the flight time is 1 hour.
Fly to Phuket and take a ferry + bus to Surat Thani. The cost of tickets starts from $20, travel time is about 3 hours.
Fly to Bangkok and take a train to Surat Thani. The cost of tickets starts from $10, travel time – from 6 hours.

Where does the yoga tour end? Where is the best place for me to fly home from?

The end of our yoga tour will be on the island of Koh Tao, from where you can take a ferry to any nearby airport or train station – on average it takes 1.5-2 hours to get there (depends on where exactly you will be sailing to). The most common options:

Take the ferry to Samui Island, from where you can fly to Bangkok. Airfare starts at $50 and the flight time is 1 hour.
You can go to Surat Thani, from where you can either fly to Bangkok or go there by train.

How do I book my participation in the retreat?

Take just two steps and come with us on a spiritual journey of relaxation, beauty and wellness. To do this, you need to send an application form and make a prepayment.

After receiving your application for the yoga tour, we confirm if there are free places. Then you make the first prepayment of 1000 euros, which secures your place on the yoga tour. We always try to respond to your requests within 12 hours. The second prepayment of 800 euros must be made 1 month before the start of the yoga tour. The remaining amount is paid on the first day of the tour either to the company’s account or in cash.

What happens if I prepay and then can't go?

Prepayment is a confirmation of your reservation for your place in the yoga tour, as well as in the villas and resorts we rent for our yoga tour.

The prepayment is non-refundable, as once we have booked a place for you, we send payment to the villas and resorts we rent and book for you and refuse others who wish to stay. However, we will be able to refund your prepayment in case we find another participant to take your place. In case of border closures/cancellation of air transportation, the prepayment will be refunded (less bank transfer fees, if any).

Before making a prepayment, we recommend that you read the Disclamer as well as the Offer Agreement in order to understand your level of responsibility while traveling and practicing with us, as well as the responsibility of the Club.

Who goes on retreats with the Club?

It is important for us to create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere in the group! That is why we pre-select participants at the prepayment stage. Usually during correspondence and coordination of details it becomes clear whether our values and interests coincide or not. Thanks to this approach, some participants keep in touch even after the retreat.

Each participant of our retreats confirms their readiness for early risings and spiritual practices in a group.

I don't have much training, does it make sense to go on a yoga tour?

You don’t need any special training to participate in a yoga tour. We adapt our practices for all participants of the tour, as we gather small groups and there is an opportunity to pay attention to everyone.

The rhythm of our yoga tour is measured, so you will have the opportunity to relax, be alone, and talk about topics that are unusual in your daily environment.
